A look at the current state of the bike business. I think there will always be a market for the high-end, custom made, boutique bike shop but I wonder if the local bike shops are making any money on selling bikes. Is service helping the bottom line? Or can anyone still offer free maintence to their customers when the profit margins are so tight?
